Hang this within your view, but nake sure it is shaded and that the outside temperature is going to stay cool enough to keep this in solid form.

Ingredients:

1 1/4 pounds suet
1/2 cup shelled, unsalted sunflower seeds
1/2 cup crushed peanuts
1/2 cup cracked corn kernels

Procedure:

Melt suet in a warm oven or in the microwave.  It will make about 2 cups of liquid fat.  Mix in the sunflower seeds, crushed peanuts and cracked corn.  Spoon into a 4 cup capacity mold, or two 2 cup molds, placing a drinking straw vertically where the hole is to be, to thread the hanger through.  Place molds in the refrigerator until they are solid again.  Removemold and  drinking straw and thread rope or string through the hole, hang on a tree branch.
