A dry mix that can be used wherever you would use condensed soup, as in a casserole or sauce, by adding water and cooking until thickened.  Using a no sodium chicken bouillon will reduce the sodium significantly when you compare this to using a can of condensed soup such as cream of mushroom or cream of celery.

Ingredients:

2 cups nonfat dry skim milk powder
3/4 cup cornstarch
2 Tbsp dried minced onion
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 cup chicken bouillon powder
1 tsp dried basil
1/4 tsp dried thyme

Procedure:

Mix all ingredients together and store in an airtight container and store in a cool dry place.  Add use instructions to the outside of the container

Use instructions.  1/3 cup of mix and 1 1/4 cups of water.  Bring to a boil in a small saucepan, reduce heat and stir until thickened, about 3 minutes.  Use as you would use a can of condensed soup.
