Using chocolate flavored almond bark or meltable baking chocolate, and toasted almonds.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds chocolate flavored almond bark
1 cup toasted, unslated almonds, whole or slivered
Procedure:
Prepare a workspace with wax paper or tin foil, the area needs to be about 2 feet by 2 feet, or for a thicker bark, line
a 9x13 baking pan with tin foil or wax paper. Toast almonds by spreadding in a single layer, on a cookie sheet and baking
at 350 F for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and set aside to cool while you melt the almond bark according to package
directions. Spread almonds in a layer on your work surface or baking pan, pour melted almond bark over top and spread
evenly with the back of a spoon. Allow to cool and harden completely before breaking into bite size pieces. Store
in refrigerator.
