Mediterranean, Indian, Cajun and Asian seasoning blends to enliven fish fillets baked in the oven. These
recipes are all for a single use portion, enough for about a pound of fish. Very easy to double or triple the quantities,
store in an airtight container.
Ingredients:
Mediterranean
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp dried parsley
2 tsp dried oregano
2 tsp dried basil
2 tsp dried thyme
Indian
1 Tbsp curry powder
2 tsp ground cumin
1 Tbsp paprika
2 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp black pepper
Cajun
1 Tbsp paprika
1 Tbsp onion powder
1 Tbsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp black pepper
Asian
1 Tbsp onion powder
2 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground allspice
1 tsp chili powder (optional)
Procedure:
Combine ingredients for individual seasoning blend, mix well. Sprinkle about 1/2 of seasoning mix on fish fillets
before placing in oven, turn fish about halfway through cooking and sprinkle with the remaining seasoning mix.
