Pickling Spice #1

Easily doubled or tripled.  Store in an airtight glass jar, out of direct sunlight.

Ingredients:

2 Tbsp mustard seed

1 Tbsp whole allspice

2 tsp coriander seed

2 whole cloves

1 tsp ground ginger

1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes

1 bay leaf, crumbled

1 cinnamon stick, 2 inches

 

Procedure:

Combine in a plastic or paper bag, shaking to mix well, and then store in an airtight container.

Serving Size:

1/3 cup
