A Mediterranean flavored meal, great with a chunk of garlic bread.
Ingredients:
1 chicken, 2 to 3 pounds, cut up and skinned
2 medium onions, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, smashed
1 can tomatoes, (28 oz), undrained
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tsp dried oregano, crumbled
1/2 tsp dried basil, crumblerd
1/2 tsp celery seed
1 bay leaf
Procedure:
Place onions in the bottom of crockpot, adding chicken then garlic, tomatoes and then spices. Cover and cook on low
for 6 to 8 hours, or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
Serving Size:
4 to 6 servings
