This makes a 2 pound loaf that is a bit heavier than usual and does not always rise to the top of the bread pan in the
machine.
Ingredients:
1 1/3 cups warm water
2 Tbsp sugar
2 Tbsp olive oil
2 cups all-purpose or bread flour
2 1/2 tsp fast rising yeast (or instant or bread machine yeast)
1 Tbsp flax seed
2 Tbsp wheat germ
2 Tbsp buckwheat
3 Tbsp oatmeal, not instant or quick cooking
3 Tbsp coarse ground rye flour
2 Tbsp unsalted sunflower seeds
1 1/2 Tbsp vital wheat gluten
Procedure:
Machine should be set on Bread - Whole Wheat
Place water, sugar and oil into breadpan. Measure out all-purpose flour, turn bread machine on and then add the
all-purpose flour. While this is mixing, place yeast in the bottom of a small bowl so that it is the last ingredient
into the bread pan. Add the rest of the ingredients and pour into the machine.
Serving Size: one slice, about 2 ounces or 60 grams, contains approx.
